It is during the three stages of a woman’s life – menstruation, pregnancy and menopause – that the practices of hatha yoga are adapted. Theory and practice will be given based on asana, mudra and pranayama.

Emma Balnaves is the director and teacher of Shadow Yoga and Nrtta Sādhanā and has been teaching yoga for over two decades. Emma has had prior training in classical ballet and Shaolin Martial Arts. Her formal education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Design, a Diploma in Marma Shastra and five years of part-time Ayurvedic studies in Kerala, India. Emma has been travelling and teaching yoga internationally since 1998.
