Prenatal Yoga

Discover the benefits of an individualised yoga practice to create the internal and external environment to nurture yourself and your baby.

Classes focus on creating space for mother and baby- physically,through yoga postures which keep the body strong and supple, and mentally through relaxation and breathing techniques.

Relaxation techniques: centre the body while offering tranquility and alertness to the mind, relaxing both mother and child.

Breathing techniques: students learn Ujjayi breathing,a well known yogic breathing method, which slows the breath,relaxes the nervous system and centres the mind, all of which are useful for bringing focus and inner stability during labour and beyond.

Classes are conducted in a warm,supported environment.

Pre/post natal specials

  1. Introduce a friend to prenatal yoga at Yoga Moves and their first class is free.
  2. After you have had your baby, come back and the first class is on us.

Classes run every saturday at 11am–12.15pm
